Despite the ongoing challenges since 2020, the VIRION team continued to shine.

This is a list of their publications during this time. We couldn’t be more proud of them.

Victor Cervera-Carrascon has published two first-author papers in 2020. The first paper of the two, named “Comparison of Clinically Relevant Oncolytic Virus Platforms for Enhancing T Cell Therapy of Solid Tumors” was published in Molecular Therapy – Oncolytics and can be found here: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2372770520300243

His second publication of 2020 with title “Tumor microenvironment remodeling by an engineered oncolytic adenovirus results in improved outcome from PD-L1 inhibition” was published in May in Oncoimmunology and can be found here:

Joao Manuel Santos has also produced two publications in 2020. His first is a paper titled “Oncolytic adenovirus shapes the ovarian tumor microenvironment for potent tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte tumor reactivity” that was published in Journal for Immunotherapy of Cancer and can be found here:

Tereza Brachtlova published her first original research paper with title “Expression of Oncolytic Adenovirus-Encoded RNAi Molecules Is Most Effective in a pri-miRNA Precursor Format” was published Molecular Therapy – Oncolytics and can be found here:
https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2372770520301637

Marta Lopez Gonzalez published two papers in 2020. The first paper with title “Oncolytic adenovirus ORCA-010 increases the type 1 T cell stimulatory capacity of melanoma-conditioned dendritic cells” was published in Clinical & Experimental Immunology and can be found here:
https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1111/cei.13442

The second publication, where she is the second author, is named “Micro-environmental cross-talk in an organotypic human melanoma-in-skin model directs M2-like monocyte differentiation via IL-10” and was published in Cancer Immunology, Immunotherapy and can be found here:
