The VIRION consortium organized a meeting on the 15th of March 2017 in Lunteren, The Netherlands.

A workshop was organized for the ESR students where Dr. Groen (CEO ORCA), Prof. Hoeben (LUmc) and Prof. Daemen (CEO Vicinivax) held a introductory course on biobusiness for the ESR candidates.

The ESR candidates presented their projects to the consortium and the invited guests. The research questions with VIRION supervisory board and PI’s and further project collaborations were re-evaluated.

The VIRION consortium is a collaboration between the VU University medical center (Amsterdam, NL),TILT Biotherapeutics (Helsinki, Finland) and ORCA Therapeutics (Nijmegen, NL).

The VIRION research programme is funded by the European commission in the Horizon 2020 – research and innovation framework programme.
